Overview of PASS Stock

PASS Stock manages warehouse stock control system that records the movement of goods in the warehouse maintaining a continuous up to date inventory. It is very simple to use and shows the warehouse manager the stock levels of all products with warning flags where a particular item is running low. The functions include recording Goods coming in, Despatch, Returns, and stock counts. The stock history system showing you which stock is old and needs to be either discounted or sold quickly and there is full batch traceability to enable product recall or investigation. All the reports can be exported to spreadsheets for further analysis for incorporation into other software such as SAP.

Counting Stock

The stock count preprinted schedule shows you what you have and where to look, then after the count the variance reports are run to reconcile theoretical with actual stock. The count is fast and accurate, scanning barcodes on products and locations. Variance reports enable fast recounts. Partial or full stocktakes are possible and the reconcilation feature enables stock tables to be updated and then exported to an accounts package.

Finally when all is checked and differences still remain the reconciliation routine updates the database with the correct amounts

Receive / Move/ Pick/ Despatch

When goods are received they are logged and a barcode is generated as a backup in case the package barcode is not recognised. The goods are then moved from the receiving area to their bin location and the new location si recorded with the PDA. On despatch the goods are scanned again, removing them from theoretical stock and thus a permanent upto date inventory is maintained. Integral barcode label printing enables fast replacement of label or the addition of an internal stock code in barcode format.

Goods are received using the PDA to scan the product or supplier barcodes or a wirleess scanner direct to the PC

A simple scan of the product code retrieves the data then a quantity is added

When the goods are moved the new location is recorded on the PDA

Sales order entry is fast and intuitive

A picking list is then automatically generated

Management Reports

Stock by Location

The location report shows the stock in each location

Stock by product

shows values at cost price

The reorder report

shows stock item that have fallen below the minimum required level

The expired stock report

shows stock past its sell by date

The stock turnover report

filters the turnover by selected date

Transaction histories

This is one of many transaction histories with selectable filters by product, movement type, user etc.

The wastage report

shows stock that has been discarded or damaged
